This MRRHQ Collectible HO Scale Mantua 310-08 1880 Denver and Rio Grand 4-8-0 "Mastodon Twelve Wheeler" Locomotive is a magnificent example of the "Iron Horse", the locomotive that spanned the plains and did so much to open the West. Its' ornate and colorful decoration, with gleaming brass parts, earned for it the title of the "Belle of the Plains". Offered by Mantua for only two years, and in only four road names, this rare and spectacular locomotive class of models are some of the most striking to ever grace the rails.
