Hand built in the the mountain shops of the Rio Grande & Southern Railroad, the inimitable and historic Galloping Geese remain legendary in Colorado mountain railroad lore. Information on the "Geese" is plentiful and fascinating and we encourage you to do your own research.

Our "Goose" was lovingly hand crafted by MRRHQ over MANY hours from a modified Jordan Highway Miniatures 360-229 Ford School Bus Kit, a modified Generic Box Car Kit, the Front Truck, and highly modified chassis, from a Roundhouse 1518 Galloping Goose Kit and a marvelous Northwest Shortline 39279-4 Stanton Drive for power. Featuring custom directional Front and Rear LED lighting, many fine details and professionally applied MICROSCALE Decals, it runs like a top and looks incredible. You will never see another like it and, you'll have to trust us on this, photo images barely do it justice.
