AHM5152 "Casey Jones" IC 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler Locomotive

Legendary in song and story, here is one of the most famous locomotives and, certainly, the most famous engineer, in American railroad history. The locomotive is the Illinois Central #382 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler and the engineer none other than Casey Jones who rode #382 to his death on April 30th, 1900 and was so iconic that he even had his own signature whistle.

Discontinued over 40 years ago, AHM produced two versions of this magnificent Locomotive. This MRRHQ Collectible HO Scale AHM5152 "Casey Jones" IC 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler Locomotive is the rare Pocher Commemorative version lovingly dedicated to the greatest legend in U.S. railroad history. As with the Pocher versions of the classic AHM/Rivarossi 4-4-0 American Standard locos, the Pocher versions all featured a higher level of brass and paint detail than the non-Pocher versions.
