AHM 5149P PRR Class B-28 0-6-0 USRA Switcher #7641

The United States Railroad Administration, which took over the railroads in World War I, was an intolerable grind for the PRR. An NYC man was placed in charge of the Eastern region, the Broadway Limited was cancelled, B&O was allowed to use the Hudson River Tunnels and the PRR was forced to accept U.S.R.A. locomotives in place of it's own designs. No. 7641 is typical of the B-28 Class as the PRR designated it's government 0-6-0s.
