Spectrum 11417 Baldwin Locomotive Works 2-8-0 Consolidation #9700
Baldwin was for decades the world's largest builder of steam locomotives and, at one time, their factory in Eddystone, PA was the largest factory in the U.S.A. As I could find no record of an actual Baldwin 2-8-0 numbered 9700, perhaps Spectrum intended this marvelous BLW 2-8-0 as an homage to one of America's most legendary builders. If so, well done!
